Do I need to keep my flowers in a refrigerator?Updated 2 months ago

Proper Storage for Your Flowers

When it comes to storing your flowers, here's our recommendation for keeping them fresh and vibrant:

Avoid Refrigeration: Generally, we advise against storing your flowers in a household refrigerator. Fluctuating temperatures inside a fridge can potentially harm the flowers.

Room Temperature is Best: Our flowers are prepared to thrive at room temperature. For optimal hydration and freshness, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. An ideal spot could be a basement or an air-conditioned room with blinds drawn to block out heat and light.

Refrigerator as a Last Resort: If you must use a refrigerator for storage, please ensure you remove all fruits and vegetables first. These emit gases that can be detrimental to the health of your flowers.

Commerical Refrigeration: If you have access to commercial refrigeration, such as at your venue, there are a few important factors to keep in mind. Most flowers thrive when stored at temperatures between 34-38°F, though this does not apply to tropical flowers or greens. Additionally, as mentioned earlier, flowers and food should not be stored together. Ensure all food is removed from the refrigerator before storing your flowers.

By following these guidelines, your flowers should remain beautiful and fresh for your event.
